About Sandplay
Sandplay utilizes a small tray of wet or dry sand, in which clients create scenes (non-verbal communications of your internal and external worlds) using small figures. These include people, animals, plants, vehicles, and other familiar objects.

The scenes that take shape in the tray are comparable to the symbolic images that occur in dreams. The therapist witnesses the scene without directing, providing the opportunity for you to connect with deep content in your own space and time. Immersed in childlike play, you can lose the inhibitions of conscious awareness and enter the world of your own unconscious.

The Sandplay process is intended to facilitate the emotional healing and full personal developments of adults, teens and children. Set in a safe and encouraging environment, the process may also involve dream work, talk therapy and other methods of opening to your imagination.

Sandplay activity is multi-dimentional, using the eyes, hands, body, mind and spirit, and thus has a profound resonance with the client. Verbal 'processing' and interpretation may occur at a later time.
